Principal's Message

A Message from Principal Dorothy Jenkins

Dear Roosevelt Elementary Scholars and Families,

Welcome to a brand-new school year! I am excited to welcome each of you back to Roosevelt Elementary School as we begin another wonderful year of learning, growth, and achievement.

To our returning families, welcome back! To our new families joining the Roosevelt community, we are so happy to have you with us. This school year brings new opportunities to learn, build friendships, discover new talents, and reach new heights. Our scholars are capable of amazing things, and we are committed to helping every student shine academically, socially, and emotionally.

At Roosevelt Elementary, we believe that when families, scholars, teachers, and staff work together, great things happen! Your partnership and support are essential to creating a safe, welcoming, and positive learning environment where every scholar feels valued, encouraged, and inspired to succeed.

As we begin this journey together, I encourage our scholars to come to school ready to learn, be respectful, show kindness, work hard, and never be afraid to try something new. To our parents and guardians, thank you for entrusting us with your children and for being active partners in their educational journey. Together, we will continue to build a strong school community where excellence is expected and every achievement is celebrated.

Let us make this school year one filled with purpose, pride, perseverance, and Toros - sized success! I look forward to working alongside each of you as we make this a memorable and successful year for all our scholars.

With excitement and Toros pride,

Dorothy Jenkins
